SIM will be Summer 2022
SIM lasts for 6 days. It starts at 12:00 on the first day (26th August 2021) and finishes at 15:00 on 1st September 2021.
Each entry to SIM includes a range of activities , facilities like toilets, showers and changing facilities.
Suffolk international Moot is for Scouts and Guides aged 10-17 years old.
Yes, if you want to buy treats and goodies e.g. photos from the photo booth or items at the SIM shop (shop details to follow).
All food for staff members is provided free of charge.
Attendees / partipants will have to cater for themselves.
There will be an onsite shop provided by our friends at TBC to buy additional essentials, goodies and treats over the 6 days so bring some money with you.
SIM will be staffed by volunteers within the Scout organisation so the level of experience will be very high. There will be group leaders and activity leaders to help the event go smoothly, so you will be well looked after.
You will be camping with your group that you've signed up with, they will be respobile to you as a partipant.
As Staff you will come under your relevant team leader
The Trinity Park team will also be on hand to make sure we have everything we need and are safe and secure during the event.
You can pay an initial deposit to secure your place with the balance payable by 31st March 2021.
Typically payments would be like this:
- With Early Bird Offer before 30th September 2020:
Participants deposit is £40 then a balance of £95 is payable (total amount paid £135)
Leaders deposit is £20 then a balance of £15 is payable (total amount payable £35
- Without Early Bird from 1st October 2020:
Participants deposit is £40 then a balance of £110 is payable (total amount paid £150)
Leaders deposit is £20 then a balance of £30 is payable (total amount payable £50
Note to Scout Leaders:
The leader needs to sign up and add in their participants. Participant email addresses (parents/guardians) are entered by leader and the parent guardian needs to then add health, dietary details. Payments are done by the leader.

In the case of cancellation or failure to attend SIM 2021 by Participants, Leaders or Volunteers, no refund of Fees paid prior to the date of cancellation will be given. SIM 2021 reserves the right to refund any part (or the whole of a Fee) where in its absolute discretion it considers there to be exceptional or compassionate circumstances which warrants a refund. In the event of a cancellation communicated and acknowledged by SIM 2021 before the 1 May 2021, SIM 2021 may at its sole discretion waive payment of balance of the Fees.
We suggest packing a variety of clothes that will help you be able to take part in the activities you want to do. That will mean suitable footwear is essential. Socks, underwear, sleepwear and suitable wet weather gear are a must. For more information please talk to your Leader.
Each sub-camp will have a secure area with access to charge items, this is very limited so we recommend that you bring your own portable charger.
Unfortunately not, Trinity park do not permit fires onsite.
There will be a Cub Scout day for Suffolk Scouts only on the Saturday 28th August.
